Eliza Oliver 1881 - 1961

 

Eliza Oliver,daughter of Henry and Eliza Perkins was born on the 31st October 1881at 31 Lisson Street,Marylebone,London.She was 1 of 5 children.

 

On the 15th April 1900 she marries Ernest Ash at South Lambert All Saints.

 

Together they had 5 children.Leonora 1901,Ernest 1903,Elizabeth 1904,Lydia 1905 and Miriam 1908.

 

Ernest Ash dies in 1909.

 

She meets Harry Oliver and in 1911 Norah Oliver is born at 8 North Road in Burnt Oak,London.

 

Eliza and Harry get married on the 8th March 1913 at St Pauls Church,Kilburn.

 

Kathleen Oliver is born the 20th September 1913 at 32 Kelson Road, Hampsted.

 

Frank Oliver is born 5th July 1915 at 34 Palmerston Road also in Hampsted.

 

Jim is born in 1919,Harry 1921,John 1923 and Dennis all at 27 Bridge Street,Kilburn,London.

 

The Oliver family moved twice afterwards to Oxford Road(1935) and Cambridge Avenue(both close to Bridge Street) in 1936 before settling at 6

Charteris Road,Kilburn.

 

6 Charteris Road turnes out to be possibly the most importent house in the modern Oliver history where many of the current Oliver family were born.

 

Eliza died on 23rd June 1961at Shrodells Hospital in Watford.She is listed as living at 6 Charteris Road and was possibly the last Oliver to do so.

 

Buried with Harry Oliver at plot 2251E New Willesden Cemetery.
