Harry Oliver 30/01/1948 - 19/03/1995

 

Harry Oliver,son of Harry Oliver(1921 -

2003) and Bessie Burt.He was the first of

nine children.

 

Born 30th January 1948 at 6 Charteris

Road in Willesden.

 

He went to Salisbury School in Kilburn

before the Oliver family moved to 22

Deerfield Cottages in West Hendon in 

1958/9.

 

He went to Brent Modern then St Davids

in West Hendon(both now gone),

 

I know he had many jobs in Hendon.He was a butcher in West Hendon and in Alperton and he also worked for Tescos in West Hendon.

 

The Oliver family moved in 1970/71 to 8 Brookfield Close in Mill Hill.His mother Bessie died in 1972.

 

I remember Harry working for Pifco in Colindale and for Waitrose in Temple

Fortune.

 

I am not sure when he moved to Isle Of Sheppey but he marries Gillian 

Luckhurst the 18th September in 1976.

 

Together they had 2 children,David in 1982 and Daniel in 1985.

 

I heard that he later worked for Brittany & Hobbs and Perl Insurance.

 

Harry passed away the 19th March 1995.
